Vanilla extract

Directions
- Mix cup of milk with 1tbsp lemon juice and set aside in warm place to create homemade buttermilk.
- Blend flour, butter, applesauce, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, vanilla extract, honey and eggyolks. In a bowl whip egg whites with a pinch of salt. After some bubblage add 1 tsp of cornstarch and whip until stiff peaks.
- With a whisk mix well wet and dry ingredients. Add egg whites and fold them in with rubber spatula.
- Preheat your waffle maker. If desired, preheat the oven to 200 degrees F to keep batches of waffles warm.
- Cook the batter according to your waffle maker’s instructions. (middle heat and cook for 5 mins)
- If desired, place the waffles on a baking sheet and keep warm in the oven. Enjoy immediately with your favorite waffle toppings.
