- Preheat oven to 428 degrees (F) / 220 degrees (C).
- Finely chop up the apple and set aside.
- Place flour, butter and cinnamon in a bowl and, using your hands, mix the ingredients until a breadcrumb like consistency is formed.
- Then add the chopped apple and sugar and mix.
- Gradually add the milk, add extra flour if dough becomes to sticky.
- Remove dough from the bowl and place on a lightly floured surface. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough to desired thickness and, using a biscuit cutter, cut out your scones.
- Place on a tray covered in baking parchment and place in the oven for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Remove from oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes before eating.
