Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt; whisk until well mixed.
- Create a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the milk, olive oil, and yogurt.
- Stir the ingredients with a wooden spoon until the dough just comes together.
- Add the cranberries and gently knead the dough 4 to 5 times with your hands.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and flatten it into a disk.
- Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 8 wedges. Brush the tops with milk and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
- Separate each wedge, leaving about an inch between each scone.
- Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, or until the scones are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes until they are cool enough to handle. Serve.
