Directions
- Cut the broccoli into little broccoli, and slice up the stalk into smaller slices
- Bring a pot of water to a boil
- Add one tbsp of salt and broccoli to the pot. Boil for 5 to 6 minutes
- In a pan, add 4-6 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil and crushed garlic
- Turn the stove to medium heat and saute the garlic. Add one spoon of pasta water to the oil to avoid the garlic from burning. Let cook for a little.
- Add the broccoli to the pan, saute low and gently until the pasta is ready. You want some of the broccoli to be mushy, but some to still be firmish
- Boil the pasta in the same water in the pot following the pasta instructions
- Before adding the pasta, add salt and pepper to the broccoli, be generous
- Add a half mug of pasta water and the pasta to the pan
- Use tongs to mix everything
- Serve immediately
- Add yeast optional
