Directions
- Grease a deep baking tray or pan and place two fillo sheets. Sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese and repeat until you run out of cheese. Heat the oil. Preheat the oven to 160°C/320°F.
- Cut the banitsa into squares with a sharp knife, then pour the hot oil over it.
- Beat the eggs with carbonated water and also pour them over the banitsa. Gently swirl the baking tray or pan around, so the liquids get evenly distributed.
