- Spread 1 tbsp butter on one side of the bread. Cut bread slice in half.
- Place bread buttered side down in a frying pan heated to medium high. Remove once golden brown on buttered side.
- Spread 1/2 tbsp butter on the uncooked side of one slice, and place that side down in frying pan. Top with cheese.
- Spread remaining butter on the uncooked side of the other slice, and place that side up on top of the cheese.
- Continue cooking, using spatula to occasionally press down on sandwich. Flip over to cook each side evenly. Remove from pan, let sit for one minute, and enjoy!
