Ingredients
Feta cheese
⅔ cup, crumbled or 100g
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, feta cheese, garlic, flax meal and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix gently until combined (over mixing will make the meat tough). Form into small patties and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 50% of recipe quantity of butter. Once melted, add burger patties and cook about 5 minutes, until well browned, then flip and cook remaining side 5 minutes more.
- While burgers cook, finely chop parsley. In a small bowl, whisk together heavy cream, tomato paste, parsley and salt and pepper to taste. After flipping burgers, add sauce to skillet and simmer until burgers are cooked through.
- In another skillet over medium-high heat, melt remaining butter. Add shredded cabbage and cook until well browned, stirring occasionally, 5 to 6 minutes.
- Serve burger patties with sauce over fried cabbage.
