- Cut sausage links in half./
- Bring a frying pan or griddle to medium high heat. Spray with one quick spray of Pam or other spray oil.
- Place the cut sausages in the griddle on one side. Start them grilling, turning occasionally.
- After 3 minutes, add onions. Continue grilling for ~3 minutes, until onions are soft but not translucent.
- Add Mancini fried peppers, grill until hot.
- When sausage is cooked thoroughly, turn off heat and remove griddle.
- Slice the sub roll, and fill with sausage, peppers and onions. Take one half sweet, and one half hot sausage, and place them so they create one link and place in roll, repeat. You can put the onions and peppers under or on top. Season with mustard or whatever topping you like.
- Note: This has no saving grace. It is a whole day's fat, a whole day's sodium, a little over half cholesterol, and 1/3 of a day's calories. Enjoy, and plan better tomorrow.
