Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a rectangular cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined, scraping down the sides of he bowl as needed.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Place the peanut butter cups on top of the brownie batter, in an even layer.
- Add the remaining brownie batter on top and spread into tone even layer, making sure all of the peanut butter cups are covered.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tops of the brownies look set. Remove from the oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice into 15-24 squares, serve, and enjoy!
