Directions

  1. Prepare according to cookbook directions. I think per following: Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Crumb in butter. Mix in milk until just incorporated.
  2. Drop into 6 equal spoonfuls over broth or soup. Steam over broth or soup for 12-15 minutes, covered. Do NOT remove cover for a minimum of 12 minutes. A see through lid helps. Dumplings are done when they float on their own and look dry on the very top.
