  1. Rinse the bulgur in cold water and place in a medium bowl.
  2. Cover the bulgur with hot water so it’s fully covered by at least 1 in/2.5 cm. Add the salt, cover, and let sit until tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Drain any excess water, if necessary. Use a fork to fluff the bulgur grains.
