  1. 1. Rinse and puree the beans with ½ cup of water to form a thick paste. 2. Pour beans into a bowl and add in all left over ingredients (except oil), thoroughly combine. 3. Place a small frying pan on medium heat; add in a little oil. 4. Add about a fourth of the bean batter, cook until you notice some bubbles in the akara, flip over and cook on the other side until golden. 5. Repeat step 4 until all the batter is cooked.
