Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tsp salt to the water. Cut the stems off the chard (keep them for a different dish). Chop leaves coarsely, wash thoroughly and allow to drain.
  2. Place chard leaves in pot, cover and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Remove chard from pot and allow to drain thoroughly.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the chard with the other ingredients. Add more salt if desired. Serve immediately.
