Directions

  1. Toss chicken with flour, salt, and pepper. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir until chicken is light brown; remove from pan.
  2. Add butter to pan and melt. Add onion and garlic, cook and stir, scraping up drippings, until vegetables are crisp-tender, about 4 minutes. Place in 4-quart slow cooker with chicken.
  3. Add 1/2 cup celery, carrots, and Stock. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until chicken is tender.
  4. Stir in milk, Swiss cheese, blue cheese, and hot pepper sauce. Cover and cook on low for 30-40 minutes or until cheese is melted and soup is blended.
  5. In small bown, combine tomatoes, 1/4 cup celery, and dressing and stir well. Ladle soup into warmed bowls and top with tomato mixture; serve immediately.
