Ingredients

Directions

  1. Blend the chillies, garlic, ginger and onion to a paste.
  2. Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a large pan and gently fry the paste for 2 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Add the dry spices and cook for a further minute, before adding the chicken pieces, stirring to coat in the spices.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes before adding the lentils and chopped tomatoes with along with 1½ tins of water.
  5. Simmer slowly for 25 minutes, season to taste, add the spinach and stir until wilted.
  6. Serve with warmed rotis.
