Creamy Asparagus and Shrimp Alfredo

Ingredients

• Shrimp

  8 oz or 227g

• Butter

  unsalted

  1 tbsp or 14g

• Asparagus

  raw

  1 cup or 134g

• Heavy whipping cream

  ½ cup, fluid or 119g

• Parmesan cheese

  shredded

  3 tbsp or 15g

• Salt

  table

  ½ dash or 0.2g

• Black pepper

  ground

  ½ dash or 0.05g

Directions

1. Peel and devein the shrimp, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the shrimp in butter until they turn opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the asparagus and continue to sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
4. Pour in the cream and add the Parmesan cheese. Reduce the heat and stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy.
