- Cook the penne in a large saucepan of boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup (60ml) of the cooking liquid.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large frying pan over high heat. Cook the bacon, stirring, for 3-4 mins or until crisp. Add the cream. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring, for 2-3 mins or until the sauce thickens slightly.
