  1. Toast the sourdough bread slices.
  2. Chop the cilantro. Peel, pit, and slice the avocado.
  3. Preheat the broiler.
  4. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a heavy, large broiler-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. Crack the eggs into the skillet and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook until the egg whites are just set on the bottom, about 2 minutes.
