Grilled Oregano Shrimp

Ingredients

• Oregano

  2 tsp, ground or 4g

• Pepper

  1 dash or 0.1g

• Shrimp

  Crustaceans, mixed species, raw

Directions

1. Prepare the grill for direct-heat cooking over medium-hot charcoal or medium-high heat for a gas grill.
2. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, ground oregano, and salt and pepper.
3. Cut the onion lengthwise into 3/4-inch wedges and separate the layers.
4. Toss the shrimp and onion with the oil mixture.
5. Thread 6 shrimp onto each skewer, alternating with single layers of onion.
6. Grill the shrimp, covered only if using a gas grill, turning once, until just cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes total.
