- To Make Dough: Mix Together 1 And 3/4 Cups Of Flour, Yeast, And Salt. Set Aside.
- in small saucepan, heat milk, water, butter, and sugar over medium-low heat until it reaches 120-130 degrees F, stirring constantly. pour into the dry mixture and beat until smooth.
- add egg and 1/2 cup flour and beat for another 2 minutes. gradually add enough flour to make a soft dough (1-2 cups) knead dough. cover and rest for 20 minutes.
- to make filling: combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
- once dough is risen, roll out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. spread melted butter on top. sprinkle filling over top.
- roll dough as for a jelly roll, keeping it as tight as possible. pinch the end of the dough along the top then cut into 12 even rounds.
- place rolls on a greased pan and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. let cool then top with glaze. to make glaze: combine powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and 2-3 Tbsp of hot water until a smooth consistency. Enjoy!
