  1. Place the kale in a bowl and add some lemon juice, then squeeze the kale with your hands to break the fibers and in order to make it softer. Do not missed this step because it will better on the stomach.
  2. Place the kale, red cabbage, red onion, apple slices, shredded carrot, slivered almonds, and avocado in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and salt.
  4. Then, drizzle the dressing over the slaw and toss until everything is well covered.
