Directions
- Marinate chicken breast cubes with 1 tbsp karahi masala, garlic paste and ginger paste for atleast 1 hour in the fridge.
- Heat 2.5 tbsp canola oil on medium heat and cook marinated chicken. Half way through add the julliened ginger. when chicken is done put it aside.
- Heat 1.5 tbsp of canola oil on medium heat and add the diced roma tomatoes. Once tomatoes begin to soften lower the heat and add tomato paste, salt, red chili powder, and 2/3 TBSP shan masala. continue to let this cook on low heat until tomatoes have turned into a paste.
- Add chicken to the tomato paste and cut chili pepper. Cook on medium heat until the oil begins to separate from the karahi. Garnish with fresh ginger and cilantro.
