- Mix ground beef with 1/2 of the garlic, 1 tbsp of onion, salt & pepper to taste, and oregano. Shape into 1.5 inch oblong patties, about 12-15 meatballs.
- Preheat a skillet over medium. Brown the meatballs on both sides until crispy and well done. Smaller batches may be necessary. Set aside.
- Reduce heat some and add onion, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring, until translucent, about five minutes. Stir in remaining garlic and quickly cook out the raw flavor about 30 seconds.
- Stir in tomatoes, parsley, ras al hanout, and water. Deglaze the pan and cook until the tomatoes are soft, about five minutes. Pour sauce over meatballs and serve.
