Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix ground beef with 1/2 of the garlic, 1 tbsp of onion, salt & pepper to taste, and oregano. Shape into 1.5 inch oblong patties, about 12-15 meatballs.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium. Brown the meatballs on both sides until crispy and well done. Smaller batches may be necessary. Set aside.
  3. Reduce heat some and add onion, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring, until translucent, about five minutes. Stir in remaining garlic and quickly cook out the raw flavor about 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, parsley, ras al hanout, and water. Deglaze the pan and cook until the tomatoes are soft, about five minutes. Pour sauce over meatballs and serve.
