Directions
- Mix the meat with everything on the list down to the cinnamon, and 2 tbsp oil.
- Pour a little oil (2 tbsp) in the base of the tagine and then add the onion slices.
- Then add the meat in the centre.
- Arrange tomato slices around the meat and add the water.
- Add the cinnmon stick to the tagine.
- Add the chili peppers on top of the meat.
- Cover and place the tagine in the ovnen.
- Add more water if needed and add salt to taste.
- Cook the tagine for about 2 hours or until the meat is tender and the sauce is thick.
