- Mix milk and yogurt and warm in the microwave. Add to the mixing bowl. Add sugar and yeast. Once yeast is active add salt, cardamon, turmeric, and butter. Stir in flour. Add more flour if needed until it forms a soft bread dough. Need for 5 minutes. Cover and let rise 2 hours. Break into 12 equal balls and let rise another 30 minutes. Set over to 500 degrees. Flatten balls until about 1/4 inch thick. Place on cookie sheet or baking stone and cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip the bread and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes then remove from oven.
