Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix the salt in the flour. Slowly add water to it and start kneading. Knead until it forms a smooth ball. If there is enough quantity and you're making it for other members of the family too, you can use a stand mixer to knead the dough. For one serving, hand kneading is easier. Make the dough and keep it to rest for 10 minutes or so.
  2. Make the dough into smaller balls of about an inch or so in diameter. Roll it with the help of a rolling pin . Sprinkle some flour on the surface so that it wouldn't stick. Roll and make flat breads. Put it on a hot tawa and heat until it starts to turn color and puff up a bit. Cook both sides and serve.
