- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut stem off cauliflower, pull apart florets and cut lengthwise so you get flat pieces. Spread on a cookie sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and paprika. Bake for about 20-25 minutes flipping halfway.
- Prepare a large bowl with water and ice (ice bath). Bring a small pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and cook until bright green and crisp-tender, about 4 minutes. Transfer to ice bath; let cool completely. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
