Directions

  1. Combine turnips and potatoes and slow cook on stove in oil and water. Add 1 drop of mashed potato flavoring to water and oil, cook till 3/4 cooked. Add rest except the cornstarch, into a hot deep pan or wok over medium-high heat. Heat until just about at a boil.
  2. Mix the cornstarch with a little water and stir the mixture into the skillet. Keep heating until it comes to a low boil. Stir until thickened. If it becomes too thick, just add a little water. Add drop of butter flavoring if needed.
  3. Note: can add other seafood such as cod or shrimp.
