Directions

  1. Cook the grits according to package directions until thick and creamy, then stir in half of the butter until melted; keep warm.
  2. Pat the shrimp dry. Season all over with the salt, black pepper, paprika, and a pinch of cayenne.
  3. Heat remaining butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook until pink and just opaque, about 1–2 minutes per side.
