Directions

  1. Cook the noodles in salted boiling water according to direction on package. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over high heat until smoking. Turn to coat pan.
  3. Add the beef, and cook, breaking up into smaller chunks, for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the onion, chile, garlic, ginger, Szechuan pepper, and five-spice powder to the beef.
  5. Cook until onion is softened and beef is cooked through, about 2 to 4 minutes longer. Add the carrots and green beans and cook until crunchy.
  6. Add the noodles to the beef and veggie mixture. Stir in the tamari sauce.
  7. Remove from heat and toss.
  8. Serve with additional chili sauce on the side.
