Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Trim the woody ends from the asparagus. Divide into equally portioned bundles and wrap each with 1 strip of bacon, starting about 1/2 inch below the tips. Secure with a toothpick and place in a low-sided casserole dish.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Bring just to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar, then remove from heat.
