  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Butter an 8x8 inch baking dish and cover the bottom with 1/2-inch banana slices. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of blueberries over the bananas and set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
  4. In another bowl, beat together the milk, egg, melted butter, vanilla, and maple syrup.
  5. Add the oats mixture to the baking dish and gently pour the milk mixture over the oats. Tap the pan on the counter to ensure the milk is evenly distributed.
  6. Sprinkle the top with the remaining blueberries and bake in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes until the top is golden brown and the oatmeal is set. If desired, drizzle more maple syrup on top.
