  1. Bring quinoa and water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  2. Measure 1 cup of cooked quinoa; add 3 tbsp of milk and 1 tbsp of brown sugar. Heat in the microwave for 90 seconds and serve.
