Directions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of boiling water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Toss shrimp with olive oil and Cajun seasoning. Cook shrimp for about 4 minutes, flipping once, until pink. Set aside and keep warm.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute until lightly browned.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth, adding more if needed. Add thyme, oregano, salt, pepper, and Parmesan, whisking for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens. Reduce heat to low until pasta is ready.
  5. Combine pasta with Alfredo sauce and serve with Cajun shrimp on top.
