  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat, cover, and let stand 10–12 minutes. Transfer to ice water to cool, then peel and chop.
  2. Warm the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook, stirring, until pink and just cooked through, 3–5 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, hot chile sauce, relish, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and black pepper until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.
