  1. Drain the black beans and grate the carrots. Chop the onions and shred the potatoes.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork.
  3. Add the grated carrots, chopped onion, shredded potatoes, and corn to the mashed beans and mix well.
  4. Stir the eggs into the bean mixture until fully integrated.
  5. Form the mixture into 8 patties with wet hands and season with salt and black pepper.
