Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, parsley, Dijon mustard, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and ground beef.
  2. Mix well using your hands until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a thick, round patty.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the patties and refrigerate them until ready to cook.
  5. Preheat a large frypan over high heat for about 3 minutes, then reduce the heat to medium.
  6. Gently place the patties onto the hot frypan and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.
  7. Flip the patties and place 2 slices of cheese on top of each cooked side.
  8. Cover the frypan with a lid and cook for another 4-5 minutes, allowing the other side of the patties to cook and the cheese to melt.
  9. Once cooked, remove the patties from the heat and set aside.
  10. While the patties are cooking, halve the hamburger buns and place them flat side down on a separate frypan over low heat.
  11. Toast the buns until they are warm to the touch.
  12. To assemble the burgers, place one lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun.
  13. Add desired amount of tomato slices on top of the lettuce.
  14. Place a cooked patty with melted cheese on top of the tomato slices.
  15. Add red onion slices and dill pickle slices to your liking on top of the patties.
  16. Squirt tomato sauce and American mustard to your liking over the dill pickles and red onion.
  17. Place the top half of each bun on top of the assembled burgers.
  18. Enjoy!
