Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, parsley, Dijon mustard, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and ground beef.
- Mix well using your hands until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a thick, round patty.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the patties and refrigerate them until ready to cook.
- Preheat a large frypan over high heat for about 3 minutes, then reduce the heat to medium.
- Gently place the patties onto the hot frypan and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the patties and place 2 slices of cheese on top of each cooked side.
- Cover the frypan with a lid and cook for another 4-5 minutes, allowing the other side of the patties to cook and the cheese to melt.
