Directions

  1. Heat milk, cream, spices, and salt to a simmer. Meanwhile, whip egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Once milk mixture is simmering slowly temper the milk in with the egg mix. After most of it is mixed in with the egg pour back into the pot and warm to 160 degrees.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla. Serve warm or refrigerate.
