Directions
- Form the ground beef into a patty.
- Grill the patty for about three minutes. Flip the patty to another part of the pan and add the onion to the fat left by the patty. Continue grilling the patty for another three minutes. Place the cheese on the patty when the meat is nearly done. Move the patty to a cooler part of the pan while continuing to grill the onion slice until softened.
- While the onion is grilling, coat one side of each bread slice with butter. Grill in a separate pan until toasty. Once done, remove the bread from the pan.
- To assemble, spread the thousand island dressing on one slice of bread. Add the grilled onion, then place the patty with cheese on top. Cover with the second slice of bread. Serve and enjoy.
