  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions, then drain and arrange in a single layer in a 1-1/2 quart baking dish coated with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Whisk in the flour until it thickens and bubbles, then gradually whisk in the milk and Dijon mustard. Cook, whisking, until slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Gradually add the Gruyere and Fontina cheeses to the milk mixture, stirring until each addition is melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the cheese sauce over the gnocchi and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake until the gnocchi are puffed and the cheese is golden and bubbly, about 25 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
