- Leave eggs in fridge until water is at the boiling point. Fill large pot with enough water to cover all eggs while allowing them to float around. Bring large pot of water to boil. Bring eggs out of fridge and, with slotted spoon, place gently place eggs into the boiling water. Allow eggs to boil for 8-12 minutes. Eight minutes will solidify the egg white while leaving a very soft yolk. 12 minutes will leave a very hard yolk. Remove eggs from boiling water and place into an ice bath ( bowl filled with ice cubes and cold water. Let sit in ice bath for 30 minutes to an hour. Place eggs in fridge until ready to use. Eggs will keep approximately 6 days.
