Ingredients
Honey 2 tbsp or 42g
Tamari soy sauce 1 tbsp or 18g
Rice wine vinegar 1 tsp or 5g
Gochujang ⅓ tbsp or 6g
Olive oil 1 ½ tbsp or 20g
Directions
- Peel and devein the shrimp. Place in a medium bowl and season with Chinese five spice. Toss the shrimp to coat evenly and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, and minced garlic. Whisk together until well mixed and set aside.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Cook half the shrimp for 1 minute on each side, then remove to a plate. Repeat with the remaining shrimp.
- Return all shrimp to the skillet, pour the sauce over them, and toss to coat. Sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes.
