- Whisk together soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, ginger, and garlic until the honey dissolves. Reserve 4 tablespoons (for original recipe, reserve 1 tablespoon for each serving being prepared) of the marinade in a separate bowl, then place the salmon fillets, skin-side up, in the marinade. Marinate for at least 10 minutes, preferably 30.
