  1. Add oil to a pot and heat until hot. Add and sear meat.
  2. Add potatoes, carrots, and onions and stir for 3-4 minutes. Add flour and stir for another minute.
  3. Add the stock, parsley, salt, and pepper and stir well. Bring to a boil and and reduce to a gentle simmer for 1-2 hours covered.
  4. When stew has reached desired tenderness and consistency serve and enjoy.
  5. Note: If the stew is too oily, before serving spoon out oil that has settled on top or lay bread on top to soak up any excess oil.
