Directions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a generous pinch of kosher salt. In a small skillet, combine the olive oil, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes. Heat on high until the garlic begins to sizzle, then remove from heat.
- Cook the linguine in the boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking liquid, then drain the pasta and transfer it to a large bowl. Toss immediately with the garlic-red pepper flake oil.
- Add the roasted red peppers, crab meat, and fresh basil to the bowl. Toss everything together, tasting and adding some of the reserved pasta cooking liquid if needed. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
