  2. Spread the crushed tomatoes over the cheese using the back of a spoon, leaving a border around the edges. Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top.
  3. Cook until the cheese is sizzling, bubbled, and the edges are brown. Gently lift the edges with a spatula; if it sticks, continue cooking until it lifts easily. Once ready, transfer to a cutting board.
