  1. Allow cream cheese to soften. Melt butter and drain oranges, reserving the syrup.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F and position the rack in the middle.
  3. Mix allspice and half of the granulated sugar in a small bowl.
  4. Cover phyllo with plastic wrap and a damp towel. Place one phyllo sheet on a baking sheet, brush with butter, and sprinkle with spiced sugar. Repeat for 2 more layers, then top with the last phyllo sheet and brush with remaining butter.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
  6. Blend cream cheese, lemon juice, vanilla, 2 tablespoons orange syrup (for original 4 serving recipe), and remaining sugar in a food processor until smooth. Fold in oranges.
  7. Break or cut phyllo into 12 pieces. Layer phyllo with orange cream to make napoleons, dust with powdered sugar.
