Directions

  1. Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the sliced green and red bell peppers, and onions. Sauté until browned.
  3. Remove the vegetables from the pan. Add the steak strips and cook until done.
  4. Return the vegetables to the pan with the steak and mix well.
  5. Add the taco seasoning mix, stir, and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Once the rice is cooked, add it to the pan with the steak and vegetables. Stir in the tomato puree and cook for about a minute, stirring constantly. Serve.
