Protein Gingerbread

  Canned, unsweetened, with added ascorbic acid

  ½ cup or 122g

• Cinnamon

  Spices, ground

  1 ½ tsp or 4g

• Ginger

  Spices, ground

  ¾ tsp or 1g

• Allspice

  Spices, ground

  ¼ tsp or 0.5g

• Nonfat greek yogurt

  Nonfat, plain

  5 ½ oz or 156g

• Vanilla extract

  1 tsp or 4g

• Egg

  Whole, fresh eggs

  2 extra large or 112g

• Egg white

  Raw, fresh eggs

  1 large or 33g

• Banana

  Raw

  ½ medium or 59g

• Salt

  Table

  ½ tsp or 3g

• Baking powder

  Leavening agents, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate

  2 tsp or 9g

• Aspartame

  Sweeteners, tabletop, equal, packets

  1 tsp or 4g

• Whey protein powder

  Gold Standard, Any flavor, 100% whey protein

  5 ½ scoop (30g) or 165g

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and coat a bread pan with nonstick spray.
2. In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
