Directions
- 1. Halve the potatoes and put in pot of water (water should be 1 inch over the potatoes.) 2. Bring pot of water to a boil. 3. Put lid on and remove from heat. 4. Cool 10 mins. Then drain. 5. Grate potatoes on grater. Discard skins. 6. Season with 1 tsp pepper and 1.5 tsp sea salt. 7. Heat 1 tbsp oil and 1.5 tbsp on of butter on med high in nonstick skillet. 8. Put potatoes in and press down. Add 1 tbsp of oil around edge of potato cake. 9. Cook for 20 mins. 10 Place plate on top and flip potato cake onto it. 11. Add remaining butter and oil to pan and get hot. Reduce heat to med-low. 12. Slide potato cake into pan to cook the other side. 13. Cook 15 mins on med low heat. 14. Remove from pan.
